MOMII & ASSOCIATES was founded in May 2003 and is rapidly growing
as a high-quality IP boutique firm. MOMII & ASSOCIATES has two
patent attorneys, the founder Takafumi Momii and Masayasu Yoshida,
and one support staff. Both of Momii and Yoshida have advanced degrees
in chemical-based science and have extensive experiences of drafting
and prosecuting applications and representing Inter Partes cases
in the chemical and material science field (see
ATTORNEYS), therefore,
MOMII and ASSOCIATES provides the highest quality intellectual property
services in almost all aspects of chemical-based technologies including
chemistry such as polymer engineering and science, organic and inorganic
chemistry; material science and/or electronic component such as
semiconductor, material-featuring device such as LCD, LED, ELD;
pharmaceuticals; chemical physics; nanotechnology; consumer products;
and medical devices (see PRACTICE AREAS). Furthermore, since both
of Momii and Yoshida had been resident in the United States, MOMII
and ASSOCIATES has capability of fully communicating with clients
abroad in English language. In addition, MOMII & ASSOCIATES
provides IP service while understanding practical and cultural difference
between the United States or Europe and Japan. Our support staff
plays as a paralegal and secretary, who understands English and
German languages and is thoroughly trained on compliance with the
JPO rules and procedures.

It is the mission of MOMII
& ASSOCIATES to be the “irreplaceable” IP firm for
you in Japan.
To accomplish our mission, we concentrate on patent prosecution
of the chemical-related technologies so that we can synergistically
improve the quality of services. We don’t want to become a
superficially big firm having only a few smart members and many
less-skilled people. Instead, we want to be a meddle-sized and chemical-specialized
IP firm consisting of sophisticated professionals. This is because:
we believe that such a middle-sized boutique firm can provide the
highest quality services and achieve the best protection for the
clients’ intellectual property. |
